Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Threadinq (the "Service"), operated by Threadinq ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Threadinq monitors SAM.gov and related public U.S. government sources for federal contract opportunities, matches them against the saved searches you configure, and delivers alerts by email, Slack, and webhook. We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Not Affiliated with the U.S. Government
Threadinq is an independent commercial product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAM.gov, the General Services Administration, or the U.S. Government. Opportunity data is sourced from public government records; we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and you are responsible for verifying details against the official source before acting on them.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act on behalf of any organization you register.
Free Trial
New accounts include a 14-day free trial. No payment is required to begin the trial. At the end of the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription. We may modify or discontinue the trial offer at any time.
Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
- Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Polar.
- Plan limits (saved searches, alert channels, workspace members, fetch frequency, and data retention) are described on our pricing page and enforced by the Service.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable notice.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, reselling access without authorization, using it to violate any law, or overloading the SAM.gov or USASpending.gov data sources through the Service.
Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third parties including SAM.gov, USASpending.gov, Polar (payments), Slack, and any webhook endpoints you configure. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every relevant opportunity will be captured or delivered.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Threadinq will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or missed contract opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
